The new year is shaping up to be a great one for those of you who are hoping to get your hands on new notebooks with beautiful OLED screens. Samsung’s display division has revealed that it is developing more than 10 different OLED panels for 2021 laptops, which include a brand-new 15.6-inch FHD (1080p) model. Some of these will presumably be improved versions of the UHD and QHD OLED screens that were introduced by the company in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
According to Samsung’s crystal ball, the popularity of notebooks with OLED panels are set to quintuple due to the ramifications of the coronavirus, which has normalized working from home and fueled sales of laptops and similar computer hardware...
