Samsung Will Reportedly Unveil Its AMD Radeon Mobile GPU This Summer

Samsung’s custom, next-generation mobile GPU leveraging AMD Radeon graphics technology will reportedly surface this summer. The rumor comes from popular leaker Ice Universe, who tweeted that the initial fruits of Samsung and AMD’s mobile graphics collaboration will be released sometime in June. Samsung will purportedly be keeping the processor portion of its next flagship Exynos SoC under wraps for a bit longer, however.



“Samsung is tentatively scheduled to release Samsung × AMD GPU in June to showcase new technologies and specifications, but only to release GPU, the processor needs to wait,” Ice universe tweeted. “SAMDSUNG GPU.”
