Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth, the fourth Jurassic World (and seventh overall Jurassic) film that stars Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali—the American actor partially known for having won not one, but two Academy Awards for his work in 2018's Green Book and 2016's Moonlight films.

Looks like it could be fun. Is it just me or is Scarlett Johansson going into her 'baddass characters only' mode that Anjolina Jolee did for a long while?

I'm not so optimistic. I've seen all of them and none of them come close to the first one. the others popcorn flicks at best. I don't think this one will be any different.

Exactly. I too have seen all of them, and only the first one was good.
 
I do remember the first one - that one was distinctive, probably because it was new and different at the time. I've seen a bunch of the others, I do'nt know if I've seen them all or not - but honestly, I couldn't tell you what the movies were called, what the plot was, or anything about them. I recall something about Chris Pratt... that's about it.
 
I haven't even seen the last one whatever that was called. The one before that "Fallen Kingdom" was insultingly bad.
If this does well it will be only because of ScarJo. But based on the trailer she didn't even get into shape for it. If you want to play a badass you should look like a badass imo.
 
Lets be real... this is just doing the Fast and Furious thing. It keeps making money because the rest of the world is perfectly happy with Popcorn movies... and so is the US to be honest. Especially in the current political socioeconomic climate. Give me some mind fog please.

A meaningful movie that makes you think is much better "mind fog" than braindead popcorn that takes itself too seriously. It actually makes me angry when a movie is not just stupid, but assumes its audience is stupid too.
