Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins Gets Its First Trailer

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for its latest G.I. Joe film, Snake Eyes, which will trace the origin story of one of the franchise’s most popular characters. As expected, the film will include plenty of great action sequences that range from rooftop sword fights to high-speed chases, as well as gorgeous scenery shot in Japan. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins will be released in theaters on July 23.















Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. Ok.. its snake eyes.. sure it might seem like American ninja.. doesn't matter!! Hummm maybe I need to watch that again...

American Ninja was totally RAD when it first came out and I was in my youth ... but .. it hasn't held up well.

Now we'll need a Snake Eyes V Shang Chi crossover movie that "they" will have to build up to over several movies ala Godzilla vs Kong .. they can even use the same "frienemies" storyline
