The PURE Radeon RX 9070, PURE Radeon RX 9070 XT, and PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT are shipped with cushioning material that may "result in a decrease in cooling capacity or product failure" if it isn't removed, according to a new warning to customers that ASK Corporation, an authorized distributor of graphics boards for SAPPHIRE Technology, published on its support site today.

DOH I wonder how many people didn't realize they needed to remove that. I could see being caught flat footed. It's a first I've heard of needing to do that with any card.
