When the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog debuted last year, moviegoers were expecting a flop due to the blue blur’s horrific, nightmare-inducing design. The universal outrage was unheard of, prompting Paramount to delay the film so its visual effects could be revised from the ground up.



While skeptics considered that a vain and pointless effort at salvaging an inevitable failure, they couldn’t have been more wrong.

I'm telling you it was a plan to drum up free advertising. You can't make a movie so loved by fans with great understanding of the source material and accidently miss what the main character looks like.
