A third Sonic the Hedgehog movie is on the way, and not only that, it already has a release date.

Sounds like they are trying to be the next Minions or Shrek or whatever .. those kid movies where there are just umpteen million sequels that, unless you are a parent of kids of the right age, you would have no idea existed.

I haven't seen the first one and didn't know there was even a second one out already.
I wish I was as lucky as you. I saw both of them. Complete and utter garbage, and that's putting it kindly. At least with the SMB live-action movie, or the Street Fighter movie, you can point and laugh at some of the stupid sh1t. But these Sonic movies, good gawd. Stay the f*ck away. And there's a f*cking Knuckles spin-off movie coming too...

The sad thing is, SEGA themselves have treated Sonic far worse, so as much as I despise the movies, I can't even say they're the worst thing to happen to Sonic, cuz games like the 2006 one exist.

I haven't seen any of them and feel no regrets either. The only thing that would even remotely make me want to watch these is Jim Carrey.

He was funny back in the day, but now he's a socialist whack job. He hasn't done anything funny to my knowledge in more than a decade. In interviews he's done, he's shown himself to be completely out of touch with the populace and a couple fries short of a Happy Meal.

Even if he were in something I'd want to actually watch, his mere inclusion in a film makes my skin crawl. This sort of thing is why I prefer to know as little about actors and actresses as possible.

I've followed him since he was on In Living Color. Guy has been through a lot over the years and I truly believe he tries his best to keep up his comedic persona when called upon. In this day and age of people being people in general and social media negativity I can only imagine being in the spotlight and trying to keep it together.

Obviously, if you are old enough In Living Color is probably the first place you ever saw him before he began his film career. It's hard to forget characters like Fire Marshall Bill and Vera de Milo. I don't really follow social media or anything like that. All I know is that he's a socialist whack job based on some random clips of him floating around out there. The man hates America, he has an irrational fear of guns and he's typical of Hollywood types that abide by the philosophy of "rules for thee but not for me." He doesn't live in the real world with the rest of us. The dude is rich as hell and the things he things are good for us would never apply to him.

My thing is, when I don't know anything about actors or actresses I can enjoy what they do and leave it at that. However, when I find out they are horrible human beings, the sight of them often makes my skin crawl. The elitism, entitlement and general disconnect Hollywood actors have from the rest of us makes their views worthless in my opinion. However, I can ignore that up to the point where they get on social media and say stupid things often enough that it gets back to someone like me who literally has no social media accounts and doesn't go around looking at those of others.

Jim Carey is someone who's views are offensive to me. I can watch his older stuff due to nostalgia, but I can't look at him in the same light anymore. I found out about his lunacy after he demanded to have his name taken off Kick *** 2 because the film has guns in it. That made the rounds and obviously, it trashed my opinion of him. I later saw an interview about his views on socialism. The only credit I'll give him is that he doesn't sugar coat his views and pretend to believe in democracy. He straight up calls for socialism and doesn't mince words about it.

Beyond how I feel about him as a human being, the fact is I haven't seen him do anything funny in more than ten years that I can think of. He's way past his prime as a comedic actor and I'm not talking about his age.
