Sony Releases Official Teaser Trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Releasing December 17, 2021

Following a series of leaks that may or may not have been intentional by a clever marketing department, Sony Pictures has released the first official teaser trailer for the latest installment of the Spider-Man film franchise: Spider-Man: No Way Home.



The teaser trailer gives a decent look at franchise star Tom Holland, who returns as the titular superhero, as well as his newest partner: the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch.



It also gives a small peek at the revival of a popular villain that most fans were already expecting, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus from 2004’s Spider-Man 2. Similar to his initial appearance in Sam Raimi’s undisputed classic, Dr. Otto Octavius returns with a green coat, sunglasses, and, of course, mechanical appendages.
