Sony Unveils New “PlayStation Studios” Brand with Marvel-Like Opening Video That’ll Launch Alongside the PS5

It appears that Sony has taken a liking to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios brand. Just like its competitor, the Japanese gaming giant has decided to unite its first-party developers and titles under a new, albeit unoriginal label: PlayStation Studios. According to GamesIndustry.biz, it’ll debut with the launch of the PS5 later this year.



Sony has also uploaded the opening video for PlayStation Studios, which you can check out below. If you’re a Marvel film, it’ll probably look very, very familiar to you, as it comprises footage of popular titles (i.e. Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and The Last of Us) playing within shifting symbols...
