Assassin's Creed Shadows, the latest installment of Ubisoft's historical action-adventure game franchise, will allow players to not only explore the beautiful countryside of feudal Japan on horseback, but also make their way through the story as Naoe, one of the game's protagonists, by leveraging the power of stealth—a gameplay mechanic that some fans say have been sorely missing from the franchise—according to 13 minutes of brand-new gameplay footage that developer Ubisoft Quebec shared during today's Ubisoft Forward 2024 event.
