m8r98a4f2 has released a new mod for Starfield that appears to vastly improve the game's inventory system for those playing on PC. The mod, which is similar to what SkyUI delivered for players in 2011's The Elder Scrolls VI: Skyrim, offers a better category list, sortable columns, increased data, the ability to mass transfer entire categories, and more in the new space-faring RPG that is now officially available to play exclusively on Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, and PC, according to a feature list and gallery that can be found at NexusMods. Critics say that this is another, perfect example of Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios counting on modders to do their job for them.

Yeah, these kinds of mods are usually among the first I expect when a new Bethesda game rolls out.

Yeah, I don't think the default inventory is bad. This maybe useful but hardly essential.
