TEAMGROUP recently launched what it is calling the world’s first DDR5 memory module for desktops, the ELITE U-DIMM DDR5. These modules are now available to order at Amazon and Newegg for $310.99. Sold in a 32 GB kit (2x 16 GB sticks), TEAMGROUP’s ELITE U-DIMM DDR5 modules feature a frequency of 4,800 MHz for up to 50 percent faster performance than traditional DDR4 memory (3,200 MHz) and a lower voltage of 1.1 V for improved energy efficiency. They have been designed for Intel 600 series motherboards with DDR5 compatibility.

I want to know why I need DDR5, is DDR4 really bottlenecking desktop PCs? I'd venture to say NO.

Timing and subtimings matter so much more, Improve those I say, before just ramping up bandwidth and widening timings. Zen is so very sensitive to latency. Give me that extra reduced latency of tighter timings, please.

Yeah .. and just what the *insert expletive here* would I put these in .. huh?!
