TEAMGROUP Launches World’s First DDR5 Memory Modules for Desktops

TEAMGROUP has launched what it is calling the world’s first DDR5 memory module for desktops, the ELITE U-DIMM DDR5. Slated for availability on major EC platforms for consumers worldwide by the end of June and the beginning of July, TEAMGROUP’s new 16 GB x2 ELITE U-DIMM DDR5 memory modules feature a frequency of 4,800 MHz, latency of CL40-40-40-77, and voltage of 1.1 V. TEAMGROUP says that users can expect increased speeds of up to 50 percent versus the DDR4 generation.
