Thermaltake has announced a new keyboard called the W1. This is a wireless mechanical gaming keyboard that supports the battery-saving 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy technology, as well as a standard wired USB connection. The W1 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard also features Cherry MX Red or Cherry MX Blue mechanical switches and PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) keycaps for higher durability.



“[The W1] supports ultra-fast 1ms 2.4GHz technology, with a wireless range of approximately 10 meters, and battery lasting up to 1.5 months,” Thermaltake noted in a press release. “Another wireless option is through Bluetooth. Connect to Bluetooth 4.2 enabled devices with battery lasting up to 2.5 months, or plug in for wired USB Type-C connection mode.”

I actually like how it looks. It doesn’t look like unicorn rainbow vomit. Wireless is a nice option for things like gaming from the couch, with a wired standby.

Not sure how TT is on peripherals since they are new, but this gives me hope
