Twitter Users Can Now Be Paid in Bitcoin

Twitter unveiled a new feature earlier this year called “Tips” that allows users to easily pay their favorite creators by hitting a button on their profile. What’s really neat is that this tipping feature is no longer limited to traditional fiat currency; tipping with Bitcoin is now possible courtesy of a payment application built on the Lightning Network called Strike that allows users to send and receive the world’s top cryptocurrency. The feature is initially being rolled out to Apple iOS users, but it will become available for Android devices in “the coming weeks.”

Strike is available to people in El Salvador and the U.S. (excluding Hawaii and New York). People in the eligible markets will have to sign up for a Strike account and add their Strike username to receive Bitcoin tips over the Lightning Network. You can use...

Oh boy you too can now collect 1 10 millionth of a coin in tips too! ;)

I can't wait for someone to 'accidentally' tip 10 bitcoin to a youtuber thinking it was 10 bucks.
