As part of today’s worldwide gameplay reveal, Ubisoft has released the first gameplay footage for the sixth installment of its popular open-world FPS franchise, Far Cry 6. Starring a military dropout named Dani Rojas, Far Cry 6 invites players into the Cuba-inspired world of Yara to fight alongside guerrilla soldiers in their struggle against the country’s oppressive dictator, Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito). The footage provides a good look at the visual quality of the game and a glimpse at some of Far Cry 6’s unique weapons, such as a flamethrower and missile launcher, as well as two animal companions: Chorizo, a wiener dog, and Guapo, an alligator. Far Cry 6 will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) on October 7, 2021.

I'll probably get it eventually.

I've enjoyed the previous games in the series, even though the whole repeated base capturing thing started feeling a little stale.

Hopefully these new changes will breathe new life into the series.

I didn't see any real gameplay there. Plus the important question is whether it will be like new dawn and its tiered levelwalled grindfest gameplay.

Can't say this trailer gets me excited, it has all the wrong talking points, It seemed like this is a division type game now.
