Ubisoft Releasing Five Triple-A Games before April ’21: Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and More

After a disappointing 2019, Ubisoft is fighting an uphill battle to win back the hearts of critics and gamers. Its first solution? Doubling down on some of its biggest, most historically successful franchises.



During today’s Q3 investors call, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that Ubisoft would be releasing five triple-A titles before April 2021. Three of these are mostly confirmed, as they are deep into development: Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Watch Dogs: Legion.

If they are going to keep Far Cry going the model is going to need a rework. It is starting to get tired.

Taking the same base conquering RPG FPS and dropping it in different settings just won't cut it anymore.
