Prospective Steam Deck owners who are worried about how their game progress might be synced between their handheld PCs and desktop systems have little to worry about, as Valve has already begun implementing a new feature into the Steam Cloud that takes great care of that.
Dubbed Dynamic Cloud Sync, the feature is described by Valve as an improvement to Steam Cloud Saves that will let Steam Deck users move “seamlessly” from their handheld systems to desktop PCs, and vice versa. This is even if the game being played is merely suspended, with there not being a proper save, according to the company.
