Originally launched in December 2012 after a period of public beta testing, Valve’s Big Picture mode grants Steam users a larger, simpler interface that’s ideal for anyone who accesses the digital distribution service on televisions and other large-format displays from a distance. While Big Picture mode has grown in popularity to such a degree that it’s nearly synonymous with the basic Steam client, its tight integration will likely be coming to an end. According to a recent post by Valve employee austinp_valve, Valve plans to replace Steam’s Big Picture mode with the user interface that will be leveraged by its new handheld PC, the Steam Deck. Valve hasn’t provided an ETA yet on when Big Picture mode will be deprecated.

I don't use Valves Big Picture very often. Curious to see if this will be an improvement.
