Valve has updated its brand guidelines, and with it comes the introduction of "Powered by SteamOS": a new logo and brand destined for future hardware devices that will not only run, but boot directly into SteamOS—the Linux distribution from Valve that is known by many as being the primary operating system for the Steam Deck, its portable handheld that remains available starting at $399.99.

Well you know, if Steam would actually put out a SteamOS distribution again... seems like every UEFI x86 PC could meet this.

But why do that when you can license a logo, right?

Maybe this will get back to a general distribution release, which we haven't had since a while before even the Steam Deck came out.
