Sony Pictures has delayed its Venom sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, to October 15. The movie was originally slated for release on September 24, but it appears that the studio has decided to exercise a bit of caution following the lukewarm results of various films that have been released recently.
This marks the fourth time that Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been delayed. The sequel was originally scheduled for release in October 2020, but that date ended up slipping to June 2021 due to coronavirus concerns. And as Venom fans discovered today, the symbiote-wearing anti-hero won’t be back on the big screen in September as previously intended.
Sony Pictures’ most recent trailer and official website still only indicate that Venom: Let There Be Carnage will arrive “exclusively in movie theaters this fall,” so another delay may not...
