VR Games Market Is Dying, Survey Suggests as Apple Scales Down Production of Vision Pro

The Game Developer Collective, a community of game developers that Omdia launched in November 2023 to gather insight on key issues surrounding game development, has issued a new survey that suggests the VR games market is dying, with 56% of developers believing that the segment is currently in decline, or, at the very least, stagnating.

I've yet to try any kind of VR experience. I forget about the whole VR segment most of the time. A friend of mine moved to NYC a year or two ago, and he gave me some of his old hardware before he moved, including a VR set of some kind. No idea the make or model. I keep forgetting I even have it. No idea if it works. I suppose I should test it at some point.
