Looks to be a decent deal on an Intel competitor to the 3700X.

Hmmm. You can get a 3700x + mobo for $340 at microcenter, and that comes with a Wraith Prism cooler. The Intel chip comes with a game code for a mediocre game, you're still dropping $20-30 on a heatsink. About a 10% diff performance for almost $200 less. I know which one I would be buying, and it's not the 10700.

And who knows what happens after AMD announces next gen Zen stuff in a day or 2. Prices could go even lower on the older stock.

But to each their own, choose your own adventure.

I know there are still the die-hard intel fans that don't want to toil with AMD. That's the only reason why I listed it as "warm".
