WB Games Montreal’s spiritual successor to Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Trilogy, Gotham Knights, will not be released until 2022. The developer revealed the delay in a tweet this afternoon, which explained that the decision was made so the Gotham Knight team could have more time to deliver a quality experience. WB Games Montreal also noted that it would be showing more of Gotham Knights in the coming months.
“We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players,” Warner Bros. Montreal’s message reads. “Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months.”
