Weekly DC Stats - 14DEC2025​

New this week are stats for non-BOINC projects:
  • Folding@Home stats.
  • RC5-72 stats. I have only the team summary this time; actual per-user stats will hopefully be available from next week on.
I won't make an attempt to track origin teams of any guest members at either Folding@Home or RC5-72. At BOINC based projects, I use FreeDC's member movements tracking for this which is based on unique numeric BOINC user IDs. F@H doesn't export similar IDs, and I haven't looked into whether RC5-72 numeric user IDs are suitable (which I don't import currently). However, if a user name at Folding@Home or RC5-72 happens to be exactly the same as a guest's name at one of the BOINC projects, and I have an origin team tag for the latter in my stats fetch script, the respective name at Folding@Home or RC5-72 will get the tag attached too, regardless whether it truly is the same user or merely a coincidental name match.

Weekly DC Stats - 28DEC2025​

The RC5-72 stats look weird. When I started them a long while back for TeAm AnandTech (after FreeDC discontinued their own stats imports from distributed.net), I soon began culling lines from the members table which had 1 block for the week, and are quite certainly caused by some sort of glitch in distributed.net's accounting system. Not much later I extended my filter to <10 blocks/week. Ukraine's 21DEC2025 and 28DEC2025 RC5-72 stats however hint that I should set the bar even higher yet. These 12 blocks/week lines are suspiciously random.
