What Are Your Thoughts on AMD’s New Radeon Logo?

It appears that red team’s marketing department has been busy. Eagle-eyed enthusiasts have spotted a new logo for the Radeon brand, which can be seen at the end of the trailer for Gearbox and Counterplay Games’s upcoming looter slasher, Godfall (PC, PS5). The revised logo echoes the current design with its bold and futuristic font, but some of the harsh edges have been dropped in favor of rounder ones.



You can check out the current and updated logos below, the latter of which will most likely debut alongside AMD’s RDNA 2-based graphics cards (e.g., “Big Navi”). Which do you prefer?

Same. I guess I just don't pay that much attention to logos.

I don't mind it (didn't mind the older one either). Very similar to the Ryzen logo font.

Ah yeah thats it, it matches the font.
I suppose they will do a background thingie too with Radeon.

Makes sense to tie it to the more successful product.
Otherwise, same here don't mind either, both are fine in any case

Didn't really notice a big difference until pointed out, though when I see Radeon I still see ATI in my head instead of AMD.

Never made sense to me that they changed the branding. IMHO, they should have just kept ATI as a subsidiary brand to AMD.
