Windows 11, the latest major release of the Windows NT operating system that Microsoft originally launched in October 2021 with several hardware requirements (e.g., support for Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and newer CPUs from AMD, Qualcomm, and Intel), can now be installed on devices that don't meet the minimum system requirements outlined by Microsoft, according to a new post that can be found on Microsoft's official support site.

Just wait until it's pushed as if a windows update that people blindly click through to allow only to find they have just voided an otherwise (somehow) intact manufacturer warranty on their hardware. Yea... I'm calling BS.

This seemed inevitable to combat poor Windows 11 adoption.

People will be fuming if they later push an update that breaks it on those systems though, so it is a risk.
