Microsoft Edge has become the browser of choice for Xbox Game Pass members who wish to play games over the cloud at the highest visual quality possible. This is all thanks to a new feature called Clarity Boost, which the Xbox team has developed exclusively for Microsoft’s Edge browser. While Microsoft didn’t provide any real technical insight behind the feature, it did share a comparison photo that illustrates how much better games such as Gears Tactics can look with Clarity Boost enabled.

Hmm...

Ok, if you go to the original Xbox site, and they have a "Click to Enlarge" link there

And there - on the enlarged pics, I can see a bit of something.

The "Clear" one does look mostly sharper, but for everything that it makes sharper, it also has some areas that look worse.

And since it only works on their streaming service - yeah... I honestly wonder if you couldn't do almost the same thing with a Reshade filter.
