Xbox has confirmed some of the new titles that will be headed to its game subscription service in April. They include Life Is Strange: True Colors and Chinatown Detective Agency, a day-one title, as well as MLB The Show 2022 and Cricket 22, both of which are available to play today via Xbox consoles or the cloud.

Same deal with Netflix and Spotify and all the subscription services — you pay for access to a rotating library; not necessarily specific titles.

A big benefit over (at least the current) PS+ -with XBGP you can drop the sub and resub later for full access (barring whatever changes in the lineup occurred in that time). With PS+, if you drop your sub you lose access to any “free” games you collected - permanently. Only PS Now has library access. I don’t know how that will change with the recent changes.

And it’s not like a digital purchase is any better - they can revoke access or turn off “always online” servers and kill the game just as easily.
