Following yesterday’s Mandalorian teaser, Microsoft has officially confirmed that Disney+ is coming to Xbox Game Pass in the form of a trial promotion for Ultimate subscribers.



While this deal isn’t as good as what we had initially predicted (an ongoing subscription rolled into the $14.99 tier), it’s a cost-free way for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to check out whether Disney+ lives up to the hype.

It's a win for Disney. At least 10-15% of the people who sign up are going to forget about the fact that this trial was "sold" to them, and they'll continue to pay for the Disney+ service without ever using it.
