YouTube Vanced: Google Kills Modded App That Let Users Watch Videos without Ads

This is a bit of a shocker, but it turns out that Google isn't very happy about third-party apps that allow users to watch YouTube videos without ads.

Sadly I only just found out about this program a few months ago or so. It's really dang nice to have. I grabbed the installer APK so I have a copy after the site goes down, cuz I still need to install YT Vanced on the phones of various family members.

You know youtube is going to kill however this program is skipping adds right?

Pihole has been the best method I have found to date.

I wonder how long it will be until brands start to realize that people hate ads interrupting their experiences to the point that when they run an ad all they are accomplishing is negative consumer associations with their brand.

Once they do, things are going to change.
