Anyone want to volunteer?

I don't want to risk burning out my 9950X3D on the ASROCK mobo. The 245KF score will be underwhelming so not worth trying for me.

EDIT: Much faster download mirror: https://www.techspot.com/downloads/7820-cinebench-r26.html

In case of "broken files" error, kill the Cinebench process and download/import certificate from here: https://support.maxon.net/hc/en-us/...when-I-launch-or-install-Cinema-4D-on-Windows

Quick and dirty. Test takes a bit of time, and certainly heats the 9800X3D up!

Edit, GPU test ran fast on the 5080 (running at stock):

Didn't run on my 245KF. Gave some "libraries are corrupted" error. The zip archive tests fine in Winrar without any CRC errors so it's not corrupted.

Thought it was Win11 23H2. Updated it to 25H2. Still same. Every other benchmark seems to be working fine.

Guess even Maxon didn't buy Arrow Lake to test? :D

Seems other Arrow Lake users have no issues. May have to try in a Hyper-V VM since I don't want to clean install Windows just for one benchmark.

So to no one's surprise, CB 2026 is massively and outlandishly favoring Arrow Lake, with the 285K scoring over 9000.

Oops. Nah. For once, Zen 5 is beating 285K easily. Could be higher number of threads. Could be AVX-512 optimizations.

Intel has had the stoutest cores since Alder Lake hit; if they could stop stepping on their own toes with the rest of the CPU, they'd be clearly ahead altogether lol

My mind was out of it. Looks like CB2026 has been rewritten to favor more threads or AVX-512.

That would support @Brent_Justice's 9950X run lapping the 285K, lol

(Intel appears to be moving toward a single architecture, probably similar to AMDs regular and 'compact' Zen cores, where there is no difference in supported instructions - otherwise they'd be way ahead in a benchmark that leverages AVX512)

What kind of cooling are you using and what are the other settings like RAM speed/timings and PBO etc?

This guy's custom cooled rig breached 11000! https://www.overclock.net/posts/29542615/
Only tweak from stock bios is setting Expo mode on GSkill 6000 MT 2x16gb kit - i think timings were 36-36-36-36-36-36-36 (and so on). Cooling is a Deepcool LS720 (or Castle 360, can't tell by looking at it, lolol). No GPU installed.

Running memory in non Expo mode put the score down to 9100.

Phew!

Updated OP with fix for "broken files" error that some people may receive. Issue seems to be that Windows has no received the certificate update yet via Windows Updates.
