That is uuuhhh that is quite the jump in price.
I know people have moved away from Plex and used things like JellyFin and whatnot. I myself don't use any of that stuff. My setup is far simpler, simply opening videos files stored on my NAS in player programs on my desktops and laptop. But I think a lot of people with Plex lifetime subs are gonna be happy they already paid for it. New users, not so much. But it sounds like the company doesn't want people buying lifetime subs anyways, they want them to have ongoing subscriptions.
