Gotta wonder if they're being overzealous with the 'recommended' option.

The CPU and GPU requirements are rather mild IMO.

Has to be old placeholders from before DRAM and NAND insanity. It's UE5 and none of the graphics in their videos are as good as Black Myth Wukong. By launch 16GB will be fine. They have not given a date for early access or anything, so plenty of time to optimize?

It will be 16 for minimum, may be recommended, by release. They doom the game before it even gets going by alienating so many potential players. The 64GB did its job i.e. make us aware this game even exists. Seriously, this is a marketing strategy now; release shocking hardware requirements, it goes viral, nothing burger by game launch. Lego Batman just employed the tactic.
