LG Announces New UltraGear Gaming , UltraWide, and UltraFine Monitors

LG has shared a press release and virtual exhibition booth detailing its latest UltraGear-branded monitors for 2021. They comprise three UltraGear gaming monitors (27GP950, 32GP850, and 34GP950G), one UltraWide monitor (40WP95C), and an UltraFine display (32EP950) that boasts a beautiful OLED panel.



You can check out their complete specifications in the table below, but some of the highlights include the 40-inch UltraWide 40WP95C’s 5K2K (5120 x 2160) resolution, the 27-inch UltraGear 4K UHD 27GP950’s HDMI 2.1 support for modern gaming features such as Variable Refresh Rate, and, of course, the 31.5-inch UltraFine 32EP950’s 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio OLED panel.

Yeah. But it isn’t marketed as a gaming display ... I would love for it to be 120Hz, but at least they aren’t marketing it as something it isnt
120 Hz and higher is better for cursor movement and overall acuity, though. Has anyone tried to use their desktop at 60 Hz since getting a monitor with a higher refresh rate?
