AMD officially announced FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0 today, and of course, the first question that everyone is asking is: how much better does it actually look than the original version?

Yeah, they all looked equal. Except, the ones with FSR turned on were jittery.

Upscaling is a feature that really needs to be compared "live". Screenshots and compressed video don't tell the whole story.


Also to percieve the difference, specially in 4k you really need a big screen. On my 50" TV I can clearly see the difference in various upscaling methods but even then I have a hard time telling the difference between DLSS Quality and Balanced modes. On a sub 30" monitor, not at all.
