EA Motive Provides Small Update on Marvel’s Iron Man Game: “We’ve Chosen Unreal Engine 5”

EA Motive hasn't shared much about its mysterious Iron Man game since its original announcement in September 2022, but Marvel fans can expect a game that will be powered by Epic Games' latest and greatest engine, Unreal Engine 5. Patrick Klaus, Motive General Manager, shared the news in a blog post titled "Motive Rising" yesterday, explaining that the studio, which was responsible for this year's Dead Space remake, will be utilizing UE5 to "create something truly special." Klaus didn't have much more to add about the new Iron Man game, although Motive's Careers page can confirm that the studio is currently looking for many new artists to work on the project, including software development and game design. According to the original announcement, Iron Man will feature an original narrative that enables "players to feel what it's like to truly play as Iron Man."

Wow, not Frostbite.

All they really need to do is reskin Anthem and they would have just about the best Iron Man game engine you could hope for.
