All depends what it is or does? I use a power conditioner. I had a place, years ago, with really dirty power, previous owner had done his own electrical work and what was coming into the building wasnt great to start with.
After losing a couple of monitors and a PSU in a short period of time I got myself a line conditioner. Seems to help kinda hard to know what might have happened if I didnt have one though.
Depending what the Asus box does might be interesting, might not.
