I've been a Gears head since I preordered the OG 20 years ago. Some great memories of co-op and MP with my friends. The latest version looks and plays great. It was free because I owned GoW Ultimate PC already. It is also on game pass.

Perfect appetizer to get ready for E-Day. Which they better not screw up. Because I am stoked to be getting away from angsty teens and drama queens. Old school grim dark Gears is hopefully going to be what we get. Hopefully it'll be well optimized and not the hot mess most new games are.

DF reviewed Reloaded. Including PlayStation. Never thought I'd see the day, with how hard the console wars raged in the mid 2000s.

It's like comfort food, going to finish the campaign now. I play with a controller because I like the haptic feedback. Besides, using a mouse feels like cheating. Way too easy to headshot with it. The game also loses something without the haptics IMO.
