They should finally make it external, with its own PSU and user upgradable cooling, with only a bracket to plug into the PCIe slot.

I could very well see them spinning off GeForce as an independent company or sell it off. Not sure it would make a ton of sense, but I'm not an accountant or business major so I don't know why companies do that in the first place.

It would be an interesting move. Make it a completely independent branch of the company. Isolate it's performance from the rest of Nvidia so it can prove it's value on it's own without Grandpa nvidia always paying the tab.

Only problem is Jensen is not interested in that otherwise he would've done it already. He apparently likes being in the headspace of gamers (taking Geforces out of ovens and enjoying signing on the breasts of gamer fans).
