It's official now that AMD FSR Redstone will arrive for Radeon RX 9000 GPUs on December 10, following its debut in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Lotta drama around Redstone/FSR 4/Backwards compatibility to RDNA2 etc.

I'll just be happy to see Redstone in production and hope it levels the feature playing field a bit between AMD & Nvidia the next time I'm buying a card.
 
About damned time.

I should note I have been playing E-Day via game pass on my 5600X3D+RX 6800 system because it is the only one with windows on it already. Plays great 1440 HUB optimized settings, FSR AA, but a few recommended are reduced further to keep it smooth. Could probably turn those back up if I could use FSR 4 without mods. I spend so little time otherwise in windows, not willing to install optiscaler or the like. As this is probably the only game I'll play, having only signed up for 1 month for $14 to play this title.

Working great in E-Day. Even able to turn on FG. FG makes things like buildings in the background smear if I turn fast with the controller, but no issues hitting head shots with the torque bow or longshot. FSR 4 Quality at 1440 gave me a 15-20fps increase over native with the same settings.

Some sections expose the poor RT of RDNA 2. Doing well enough though, for a 6 year old card thanks to a good upscaler. And the 5600X3D can fully 100% drive the 6800. Despite at times CPU usage hitting 90+%. This area where you get on the truck to leave the area where Mags aunt lives was really demanding. Even with RT settings besides reflections turned down to high or medium. After hours of play, and particularly in nighttime scenes, VRAM was hitting over 60%. And 32GB of ram was sitting at over 50%. Good luck with these settings using 8GB cards and 16GB ram as the game goes on.
