Any way to stop people from following you on these forums?

I've been away for a little while as I didn't feel comfortable due to "new" members following me here. I've looked through the privacy settings and didn't see anything to turn this off, and maybe there isn't a way this can be done. I may be a little paranoid, but just didn't sit right with me..lol.
 
Wait we can 'follow' people here? I look at **** near every new post... I didn't even realize 'following' was a thing.... interesting.

Yeah it just seemed odd that it happened. I'm probably reading too much into it, but it caught me off guard.
 
Virtually all new members end up getting banned for being a spammer...

Doesn't look like it's a configuration thing unless I modify the whole forum template to remove it from the UI.

I can probably also drop the users off from the database side....

No worries, and thank you for getting back to me. It was new members that were doing it which seemed a bit odd, but again it was probably me just being paranoid.

Yeah... It's rare to have an actual valid new member. Every post gets manually reviewed when they are new, but I don't have a function to monitor follows/profile posts/etc.
