The range of performance on this socket is hilarious- from a dual core Bulldozer derivative which can barely open MS Paint, up to an 16 core Ryzen 5950X which must be around 20X the performance.

Yeah, I've heard of some OEM type platforms that go for many years but those have a fairly limited scope which doesn't even remotely compare to the range of usage for AM4.

Nothing wrong with this kind of CPU for general office PC's. More than enough power to run any kind of productivity application.
