  1. LG Reveals Massive Price for 97-Inch 4K OLED TV

If you're spending $27K on a TV, you should have a room with adequate light control. When you get to 97", might as well go with a projector.
  2. LG Announces Pricing of 2022 OLED TVs, 42-Inch C2 Releasing in May for $1,399

For 2021 it's only the A series limited to 60 Hz. Looks like LG is doing more to distinguish the B & C lines with the Evo panel.
  3. LG Announces Pricing of 2022 OLED TVs, 42-Inch C2 Releasing in May for $1,399

Hmm...need to see the difference between the C2 and B2. Different image processors, but same HDMI bandwidth, refresh rate, and input lag?
  4. Surprise: Mac Studio with M1 Ultra Can’t Beat NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, Contrary to Apple’s Claims

AMD could graft X number of RDNA3 units and X GB of DDR5 or HBM onto infinity fabric with X number of Ryzen 4 cores and have insane performance beating any CPU/GPU combo. The question is, how much would it cost? Edit:. Hell, add a few TB of nonvolatile storage to that infinity fabric while...
  5. Bill for Making Daylight Saving Time Permanent Passes Senate

When there are mountains on the horizon, winter days get even shorter. Winter is going to suck, regardless of how the clock is set. Overall, I'd rather have the sunlight when I'm leaving work or on my own time, not when I'm heading to work.
  6. Bill for Making Daylight Saving Time Permanent Passes Senate

If this does pass (I hope it does), how many systems will have to be patched to eliminate the time change?
  7. DDR3 Memory Supply Shrinking, Samsung and SK hynix Scaling Back Production

Still have a decent stock of DDR3 from my X58 systems, some still running.
  8. AMD Ryzen 7 5700G APU Performance Review

Much better value than it was on release.
  9. EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 ULTRA GAMING Video Card Review

I've been itching to upgrade a system that has a 1080, and that would probably be a 3070 Ti at a minimum. I've had my eye on this card, just haven't brought myself to pull the trigger yet.
  10. Intel 12900K (UHD 770) iGPU vs AMD 5700G (Vega 8) APU Performance Benchmarks

The fight to not suck the hardest! Vega is holding up well, relatively. AMD still missed an opportunity by not putting RDNA2 on Ryzen 3 APUs. I confess being curious about how DDR5 would affect the Xe graphics. Really doubt it would close the gap, though.
  11. Cooler Master V650 SFX Gold 650W Power Supply Review

I ordered a Meshlicious case to go with the 850W. I'll probably move my MSI B450I/Ryzen 1600AF/GTX 1080 into it. Been pretty tempted to do a 12400 ITX build, though.
  12. I Am Legend Sequel Starring Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan in the Works at Warner Bros.

I primarily remember the movie showing the main character being an idiot. Never read the book, so I don't know how closely it followed.
  13. Ransomware Group Claims NVIDIA Hacked It in Retaliation for Cyber Attack

"Hey, our hacking extortion group got hacked!"
  14. Steam Deck Review Roundup: It’s Pretty Great

I might have to buy a sizeable microSD card when I get mine, to see how Windows runs without overwriting SteamOS.
  15. Road Maintenance Simulator Gets Official Teaser Trailer

    I'm waiting for Sleep Simulator.
  16. Cooler Master V650 SFX Gold 650W Power Supply Review

The 850W is only $3 more, for 30% more capacity. If I paste the link here, does the forum make it an FPS Review affiliate link? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LP6WS35/?tag=thefpsreview-20
  17. Intel Core i5-12400 CPU Performance Review

Excellent review. Very surprised to see the 5600G ahead of the 5600X on some of the tests. I think the total platform cost is still a little lower for AM4, even with DDR4 on both sides. I'd love to see a good LGA1700 mITX board at decent price - the 12400 would be ideal.
  18. MoviePass Relaunching This Summer with Eye-Tracking Technology, Users Watch Ads to Earn Credits for Movies

I wonder if it's good enough to detect a picture of somebody's face, or a looping video.
