When there are mountains on the horizon, winter days get even shorter. Winter is going to suck, regardless of how the clock is set. Overall, I'd rather have the sunlight when I'm leaving work or on my own time, not when I'm heading to work.

I've been itching to upgrade a system that has a 1080, and that would probably be a 3070 Ti at a minimum. I've had my eye on this card, just haven't brought myself to pull the trigger yet.

The fight to not suck the hardest! Vega is holding up well, relatively. AMD still missed an opportunity by not putting RDNA2 on Ryzen 3 APUs. I confess being curious about how DDR5 would affect the Xe graphics. Really doubt it would close the gap, though.

I ordered a Meshlicious case to go with the 850W. I'll probably move my MSI B450I/Ryzen 1600AF/GTX 1080 into it. Been pretty tempted to do a 12400 ITX build, though.

Excellent review. Very surprised to see the 5600G ahead of the 5600X on some of the tests. I think the total platform cost is still a little lower for AM4, even with DDR4 on both sides. I'd love to see a good LGA1700 mITX board at decent price - the 12400 would be ideal.

I wonder if it's good enough to detect a picture of somebody's face, or a looping video.
