Well, actually, from what I've seen depending on the game, FSR wins some, DLSS wins some and are mostly tied. DLSS does have better IQ though.

It looks more like a disaster movie than a ghostbusters movie. The last one was ok, don't think they can pull it off again, we'll see.

SCII is still very popular, heck even SC1 has a stong following. I myself still play both every now and then.

I recall, there was a fps called starcraft: ghost back in the day. That never came to light, but now might be an opportunity to bring something among those lines.

I was certain there would be "refresh" cards when I saw the initial RTX 4080~RTX4070 when they were released. The specs difference is abysmal, also all of them are pretty much mem size/bandwith starved. So its only natural we are getting "supers". Hopefully nvidia will get it right this time...

Actually rumor says AMD may not be an nvidia competitor on the high end. Some leakers say it may come at a much later date, but some say AMD may forfeit the high end market completely. Also, while I think intel should release cards that could go head to head with nvidia, I think the current...

Not really impressed. Not much of a visual improvement. Animation looks too jerky. Hopelessly waiting for a JK/ JKJA remaster in UE5.

AFAIK nvidia has demoed ARM based gaming pcs running windows on ARM games (I think), can't recall which one, that was when nvidia had its teeth on the ARM buyout. I guess if anyone can do it, its nvidia. that said, they tried ARM gaming on the Shield devices and it didn't fare well.

Unfortunately I can see this happening.

Now if nvidia manages to release an ARM gaming PC that rivals x86... One can dream...

Talk about a long time in coming. IIRC I first saw the MS surface RT with nvidia tegra back in 2012, with desktop ARM PCs from nvida/qualcomm not much later. Nvidia dropped its desktop ARM plans and were supposed to return after the ARM buyout, that didn't happen so plans got scrapped again...

I really haven't have any problems with UPS, even the cheap consumer grade that we use for PCs at the office, the server ones on the site lasted for nearly a decade and we only replaced the batteries a couple of times. We use TrippLite. We don't really have many power outages to begin with.

Why? I just replaced the batteries in about 9 UPS in the office instead of buying new. The UPS have like 8 years now, I've replaced the batteries every 2 years. Saved quite a bit of money.

I think game streaming can have a place, but local gaming will still be king. I've tried GeforceNow (arguably the best game streaming service, unfortunately that's not saying much.) almost since it was in early beta. While it has evolved tremendously, IMO its still not suited for competitive...

I've tried it a few times and it looks like a bad youtube streaming.
