  1. Destiny 2 Isn’t Working with Ryzen 3000 CPUs

There’s gonna be a big transfer going on at some point, where you can pick which account you want to make as your main account (Xbone/PS4/PC) and then that will work on every platform (need to purchase game on each tho). Most of D2 is going free to play, but yeah your bnet purchases will...
  2. MSI Had to Dumb Down the BIOSes of Its Older Motherboards for Zen 2 Compatibility

Does this only affect X370 or X470 as well?
  3. Destiny 2 Isn’t Working with Ryzen 3000 CPUs

Ya I thought so, but just wanted to make sure. And no, they are moving it to Steam. It won't be on the bnet launcher anymore AFAIK
  4. Destiny 2 Isn’t Working with Ryzen 3000 CPUs

They are moving Destiny 2 over to Steam in September, so I'm gonna have to assume it Bungie's responsibility to fix it. Also, like I mentioned, all the other games work fine on the bnet launcher so it's a Destiny 2 issue.
  5. Destiny 2 Isn’t Working with Ryzen 3000 CPUs

Well Bungie isn't part of Activision/Blizzard anymore heh. Also funny how all other games on the bnet launcher seem to work. Let's see how long this takes Bungie to fix.
  6. Amazon isn't selling the 3000 Series CPUs yet?

3600X is for sale through an official AMD reseller and amazon themselves now. All the other ones are still placeholders though. AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SQBFN2D/?tag=thefpsreview-20
  7. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Review

I'm debating on getting the 3600X, not sure if the 3700X really adds much more for gaming and the general stuff I do.
  8. Amazon isn't selling the 3000 Series CPUs yet?

They have some X570's and the 3600X for sale
  9. Are you an AMD or Intel guy?

My 3770K at 4.4ghz hits 100% on all cores/threads if I leave the FPS unlocked in rainbow six
  10. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Review

X570 seems pretty pointless for most people, especially since the CPUs adhere to the TDP pretty closely. Without a ton of overclocking potential, you aren't missing out on much either by having the crazy VRMs of the X570's. Kinda crazy you can technically run a 12c/24t cpu on a $100 Mobo without...
  11. Paradox Interactive Calls Steam’s 70/30 Revenue Split “Outrageous”

Only launcher I will never touch is Epic Store. I'll rather wait a year to play a game than install that junk. I also don't really see Steam caving in and changing their model, most still prefer Steam. Hopefully more developers use GoG though, that's definitely the best consumer friendly platform.
  12. AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 Video Card Review

Seems this launch by AMD was a bit of a mess. BIOS issues on the CPU side for certain reviewers, driver issues for others for the GPU's and a pretty bad cooler on these cards. They should have just waited to launch these cards with better coolers since there is definitely potential.
  13. RTX 2060 vs GTX 1080

You also lose 2gb of VRAM, so probably not worth it.
  14. What GPU(s) are you running in your main rig?

EVGA GTX 1080 I got for about $340 from B stock last year. Had a 980Ti before from bstock that I sold during crypto craze for the same price I bought it for heh. 1080 has been serving me well since I just play at 1080 with 144fps depending on the game or use DSR.
  15. How much longer until SSD prices match HDD prices

Prices will probably never be low enough for huge storage needs, but the fact that $120-130 without sales gets you a top tier 1TB SATA drive that cost about double last year is already pretty crazy. If prices get too low for flash the manufacturers will probably just slow down production or have...
  16. What is on your PC Gaming plate right now?

Destiny 2, even though it's becoming less and less again since I'm at max level and a lot of the new grindy stuff isn't all that interesting to me. Got mafia 1 and 3 on the steam summer sale and been checking them out a bit. Oddly mafia 1 has a better voice acting in the German version. Mafia...
  17. Richard Gouge Intro and Cooler Review Format

Nice, always good to see more of the original review gang :).
  18. Samsung Sued over Water-Resistant Galaxy Smartphone Claims

I guess they don't expect people to read the fine print or any warnings in Australia. :coffee:
  19. AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series GPUs Lack CrossFire Support

It was always niche, drivers were spotty and performance outside of a few games was always meh. It makes sense AMD/Nvidia are moving away from it. Too much work for no real benefit.
  20. Are you an AMD or Intel guy?

I've had way more Intel than AMD CPUs, next chip will most likely be AMD though unless Intel pulls a rabbit out of their hat
