Well I took the plunge to try it out. Gaming machine can deal with a potential reformat if needed to get back to a clean Win 10 install. So far no issues but I have only used it for about an hour.
Very poor taste to post this on MicroCenters part.
Yeah they have been looking better over at the Rockville location. Looks like we are relatively close by then Endgame! I got more competition now when going to buy GPUs!:ROFLMAO:😅
I actually had no idea about that. Going to try and get a copy and apply that patch. Would love to see a PC counterpart to an N64 game as I had realized any existed before. Blame youth!
Such an amazing console. Really was as integral in my childhood as the NES and Genesis. I started getting into building computers around the start of the N64 era, but continued console gaming at least until the 360.
Fairly decent first foot forward really.
Love the lack of a specific GPU vendor requirement, along with the large amount of modern hardware that it supports.
Hopefully they keep working on IQ and improving the game list.
I think the big issue with COD is that its a 150 GB base install, with a few 15+ GB patches every few months.
They are both large games, no point denying that, but luckily it's single player so no need to put it on my NVME drives.
This is a nice bonus for anyone buying now. I do not mind the fan on my motherboard, but I'm always interested in less moving parts, points of failure, and heat generated.
