  1. Razer Unlocks World’s First True 8,000 Hz Wireless Polling Rate with Viper Mini Signature Edition Gaming Mouse

That's cool and all pretty sure that unless your name is Commander Data that you're not going to be able to take advantage of the difference between 1Khz and 8Khz polling in a competitive Call of Duty match. However I'm sure you'd definitely feel the $200 price difference between this and a...
  2. Bella Ramsey: HBO’s The Last of Us Finale Will “Divide People Massively”

Meh, I haven't watched any of this show. Seems the whole IP is just a vehicle for SJW's. I'm so burned out on politics that I rarely watch anything older than the early 90's anymore lol
  3. Star Trek’s Jonathan Frakes Has Doubts about More Theatrical Releases for the Franchise

I think they should've left it alone after TNG went off the air or maybe Deep Space 9. I know they're gonna try and milk every last dime but it started going really downhill after that point.
  4. GeForce RTX 4090 Owner Sues NVIDIA Over Melted 16-Pin Connector

Doesn't look like Nvidia is the bad guy in this as much as people want them to be. For the last month there have only been a couple reports of this and none of the tech sites were able to reproduce the melting. Gamers Nexus released their video today of their testing and basically found out its...
  5. NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready 526.86 WHQL Driver for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

No I don't overvlock much anymore so everything is running at stock. Plus every other game I play is running perfectly. I ain't no rookie at PC gaming so I'm willing to bet the farm it's not something I'm doing wrong but rather an issue with the game or driver. I think I've discovered a fix...
  6. NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready 526.86 WHQL Driver for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Congrats. It's a pain for me and according to search results, a lot of other people as well. Every time I load it up it's got game breaking lag but if I tinker with some settings it fixes it.... Even if it loaded up with the settings from my last session where it was running smooth. I'm sure...
  7. NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready 526.86 WHQL Driver for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Good, hope it works. I'm enjoying the game but the lagging ans stuttering make it unplayable. After a lot of trial and error I think I've found that it runs fine as long as you keep textures to Low. Any higher and you get latency spikes up to 150 ms that make the game so choppy you can't play...
  8. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Boasts Largest Opening Weekend in Franchise History, Topping $800 Million in Three Days

I got a copy. I haven't had a chance to play it very much tho because of work but this weekend I intend to play a lot of it.
  9. Dead Space Remake Gets an Official Gameplay Trailer, Showing Jaw-Dropping Graphics in 4K

I get being screwed by my auto correct but how the hell does it get Madd instead of Mass? That's not even a word! 🙄
  10. Dead Space Remake Gets an Official Gameplay Trailer, Showing Jaw-Dropping Graphics in 4K

Dude.... Day 1....I may even pre-order this one. First Mass Effect now Dead Space. Now we just need an Arkham Asylum remake and I'll be in hawg heaven!
  11. Dead Space Gets Scary CPU Requirements: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or 11th Gen Core i5-11600K Recommended

Yeah I wouldn't call it scary either. I'm sure my 3700x and 3070 Strix will do just fine for my humble 1440 setup.
  12. Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2, the Mandalorian Season 3, Andor, and Tales of the Jedi Get New Trailers plus Other Updates

Tales of the Jedi looks really good. A young Count Dooku could be great. He's always been one of my favorite characters.
  13. Dead Space Gets Scary CPU Requirements: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or 11th Gen Core i5-11600K Recommended

I cannot wait for this game! It'll definitely be a day 1 buy for me. I love what I'm seeing so far from these videos. I know it's "not representative of final release" but it still looks gorgeous. Looks like they've stayed really close to the original in terms of looks and atmosphere.
  14. Netflix’s Ad-Supported Tier Is Reportedly Launching in November for $7 to $9 a Month

But that was because there were no other options. As soon as streaming took off, people dropped cable. I cut the cord back in 2009 when there was just Netflix and OTA channels.
  15. Netflix’s Ad-Supported Tier Is Reportedly Launching in November for $7 to $9 a Month

Can't see this being a winner. The whole point of paying a subscription is to be free of the gawdawful ads.
  16. Amazon Suspends Reviews for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Still on the fence if I wanna watch this or not, especially since football season is starting now. I'm sure I'll give it a chance at some point but I'm not holding out a lot of hope that it'll rank to high on my list.
  17. Aliens: Dark Descent Announced for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Platforms

I don't consider Dead Space a survival game. To me a survival game is one where you have barely enough ammo and supplies to scrape thru. Granted you could put it on max difficulty and it would be like that but on normal difficulty you've got plenty of ammo and health that you can blast...
  18. Aliens: Dark Descent Announced for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Platforms

Maybe I'm just old and salty but this doesn't sound good at all. Alien doesn't work as a squad based mobile game at least I don't think it does. I don't necessarily want a survival game like Isolation but I would love to see something like Dead Space.
