  1. Here’s 20 Minutes of Leaked Cyberpunk 2077 Footage on PS4

Came in here looking for the sex scene. I am disappoint.
  2. YouTube Plans to Force Ads on All Videos, Even for Creators Who Can’t Monetize Them

Yeah cause moar ads worked so well for cable. I don't understand why streaming services don't get that a big part of the reason people cut the cord and started streaming is because we were sick of having to watch 5 minutes of commercials for 5 minutes of program. YouTube's ads aren't...
  3. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Smashes Sales Records, Becoming Ubisoft’s Biggest PC Launch Ever

Very good news. Developers making lots of money of good single player games means they'll keep investing in them. It wasn't that long ago that they're was concern the entire genre was dead. As a long time, single player kinda guy, I'm glad to see there's still a market.
  4. Report: AMD Radeon RX 6800 Series Stock Will Be “Pretty Terrible, Like RTX 3080 Terrible”

Ugh, another frustrating product release. I just wonder if they're all gonna sell out world wide in a matter of seconds like Nvidia's cards did. Just doesn't make sense how all these POS scalpers have become superpowered all of a sudden.
  5. Sony Considered Pricing PlayStation 5 Games Even Higher Than $69.99

No they weren't bad looking games when they came out but they weren't ground or GPU breaking either.... in fact they were all console ports! I love superb graphics as much as the next guy but they don't have to reinvent Crysis every new game to make good games worth buying. I already have...
  6. Sony Considered Pricing PlayStation 5 Games Even Higher Than $69.99

Agree with the points made so far. Don't need Hollywood actors and their ridiculous price tag to make a great game. Resident Evil has the worst voice acting in the history of voice acting and it was still an incredible game. And while ground (and GPU) breaking graphics are cool and all, almost...
  7. Antec Neo ECO GOLD ZEN 700W Power Supply Review

Man that's a PSU name I haven't heard in a while. They were pretty big when I first got into this thing of ours back around 09. They made good cases and good PSU's. I think one of their lines were bulletproof Delta models. I'd actually thought they might have gone out of business tho since it's...
  8. Crytek May Be Working on More Crysis Projects

I like all 3 Crysis games. It's been a while since I replayed 2 tho so maybe I need to do that. I always thought they were fun, had a good story, excellent atmosphere and were the best looking games around. I never understood why they got the hate they do. So yeah I'd be interested in some...
  9. Netflix Raises Prices on Standard ($13.99) and Premium ($17.99) Streaming Tiers

I almost canceled when they went up a year ago to $12 but the wife actually watches it pretty regular. YouTube is about all I watch these days and it's free!
  10. Facing Lawsuit, Amazon Reminds Prime Video Users That They Don’t Own Any of Their Purchased Content

I agree that since none of the videos she "bought" had been removed she really doesn't have any grounds to sue. That said, when you "buy" a movie or TV episode on Amazon Prime, it says right there plain as day that "you own this video/episode/movie".... I'd be pretty ticked off too if for some...
  11. AMD RDNA2 Announcement!

I'm still in the Nvidia camp cause I paid too much for this G-sync monitor and it really is a superb monitor so I don't want to get rid of it. Hopefully Nvidia adjusts their prices a little to get more in line with AMD's cards so it'll be less painful for me to buy one but I ain't holding my...
  12. AMD RDNA2 Announcement!

I stumbled onto that as it first kicked off and I have to admit, I'm really impressed. A 3080 equivalent at $650 and a 3090 equivalent at #1000? $580 for the 6800 seemed a little high but according to their benchmarks it does look to be a little faster than the 3070 but I still think $580 is a...
  13. Windows 95 is 25 Years Old Today!!!

Windows 98 was my first Windows experience. Still brings back good memories for me. I hadn't been on a computer since my old Commodore 64 days so it was pretty cool seeing all that cool new tech at my fingertips lol.
  14. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Availability Will Be “Considerably Larger” Than GeForce RTX 3080|3090, According to Japan

Yeah you're probably right. I'm sure Nvidia and probably Newegg will have some kind of Captcha measures to keep the bots from taking everything but like I said, I think the actual consumer demand for this card will be a whole lot more than for the 3080 and 3090 so I still kinda think retailer's...
  15. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Availability Will Be “Considerably Larger” Than GeForce RTX 3080|3090, According to Japan

I think this launch will be just like the others. A $500 card that's as fast as a $1200 2080Ti?! Yeah it'll be a bloodbath. $800 cards are almost a niche product with much fewer customers looking to buy one $500 cards are more for the mainstream customer and there's a LOT more of those kinds...
  16. AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Edges Out NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 In New Benchmarks

Figures. As soon as I plunked down $500 for my G-Sync gaming monitor, I knew AMD would end up back on top of the GPU market. I wonder what launch day will look like for AMD.....I still really really want to hold out for a 3080 Founder's Edition but since those won't be in stock til likely...
  17. Secretlab TITAN Dark Knight Edition Gaming Chair Review

Very good review. I almost bought one of these exact chairs but they were backordered and I didn't want to wait. I ended up getting one of the Staples branded "gaming chairs" at my local store for $199 and am really impressed with it although it doesn't have the features of the Secret Labs...
  18. Ryzen 5 5600X laying a beatdown on i5-10600K

That's because the i7 line is usually in the $300+ range so no real news there. Bumping the price up on an already pricier product isn't that big a deal. The problem is that the 3600X was largely considered the perfect gaming build CPU dollar for dollar. They could usually be found for close...
  19. Early NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Stock Numbers Seem Depressing

I'm not really worried about it anymore. The ridiculous crap that was the 3080 launch has made me really not care about a GPU upgrade right now to the point where I'm not even looking anymore. I will probably start looking to buy January or February when hopefully stock gets somewhat normal...
  20. Ryzen 5 5600X laying a beatdown on i5-10600K

That's good news and all but with the price increase, the $300 5600X is what looks to be around 20% faster than a $250 10600K. I guess it would just be bigger news to me if the 5600X was the same price as the 10600K. 20% faster at 20% more cost isn't that groundbreaking to me.
