I suspect it's still windows update breaking them. It's a known issue. I used to have to deal with it all the time on dedicated BOINC rigs with GPUs and Windows. I ended up just blocking Microsoft at my hardware router to block the automated crap and then later just went with Linux.

Is this a case of Windows update screwing up the GPU drivers?

For some reason when I read "curved glass panel" I was definitely thinking this thing was going to be a concaved curve like the curved widescreen displays. When I seen the curve just wrapped around the front I was like oh, yeah. That makes more sense. I do like the panel on the side of the case...

Man, I got a steamdeck. It just sits in its case collecting dust. I've played it maybe half a dozen times. Tried out a few games, it was cool. Tried some emulators. That was even cooler. It's been a dust magnet for like 2 years now. Same with my Nintendo Switch. Poor devices.

I kind of wonder if this new SKU will actually be part of the EPYC lineup for AM5 which will make more sense for them to release instead of a Ryzen branded part.

I got my hopes up the last time this rumor hit the mill. Not getting my hopes up again. If it does happen then I'll be extremely happy. As this will probably be one of the best consumer chips for the work I do. Assuming the price isn't ridiculous.

Just bring back Battlefield 2 with modern optimizations for modern hardware to take advantage up and a ultra ultra (yes two ultras) graphic mode for the modern hardware. Toss in a few new maps, increase the player count and expand the existing maps to accommodate the new higher player count...

The only issue is things powered by the CMOS battery being shorted. Outside of that, the chances of an unpowered board being damaged by water is nearly zero. Technically water doesn't damage electronics. Well, fresh water. Salt water can and will cause rapid corrosion.
